- Do I need a credit card to start?
- No. The 14-day trial starts when you sign up. No card needed. If you love it, add a payment method before the trial ends and nothing changes. If you don't, just walk away. No fee, no dark patterns.
- Why no platform fees on giving?
- Because we don't touch the money. You connect your own Stripe account, and every donation lands directly in your church bank. Stripe charges their standard processing fee (about 1.75% + 30c in Australia). Shepherdly adds nothing on top. Ever.
- Is every feature included on every plan?
- Yes. No upsells, no module gating, no 'upgrade to unlock rosters'. The paid tiers differ on how many people are in your directory. That's it.
- What if we're bigger than 3,000 people?
- Talk to us. We want to support big churches too, and we'll work something out that makes sense for both of us. Email hello@shepherdly.com.au.
- Can I bring my current data across?
- Yes. We import from Elvanto, Breeze, Planning Center, ChurchTrac, and generic CSVs. If your current tool isn't in that list, email us and we'll help move you across personally.
- Can we leave and take our data?
- Yes. Full CSV export on everything, any time. Your people, giving history, attendance, messages. One click. No ransom.
- Is Shepherdly a Christian tool?

- Why are you cheaper than the alternatives?
- Because we built it on modern, efficient infrastructure and we keep the team small. We pass those savings on. The alternatives are fine tools, they just charge more than small and mid-sized churches should reasonably pay.
