Move from Breeze to Shepherdly without losing a thing

The simple ChMS, the way it used to feel

Breeze won hearts by being simple. If it’s stopped feeling that way — rising prices, USD billing, slower updates since the Tithe.ly acquisition — Shepherdly will feel familiar: one simple tool, every feature on every plan, giving that goes straight to your church’s own Stripe account with no platform fees.

  1. Step 1

    Export from Breeze

Download your People CSV (and Contributions, if you want giving history) from Breeze's export screen.

  2. Step 2

    Import people

People → Import in Shepherdly. Breeze's format is auto-detected — names, families, tags, status — no column wrangling.

  3. Step 3

    Preview, then confirm

See exactly which people, households and tags will be created before anything is written. Adjust with a click, then import.

  4. Step 4

    Import giving

Giving → Import for your Contributions file. Donors link by email and your history carries on seamlessly.

Questions churches ask

How do I get my data out of Breeze?

Breeze has a clean CSV export for people and for contributions. Download those files, then upload them on Shepherdly's People → Import and Giving → Import pages. Shepherdly recognises Breeze's column names — First Name, Last Name, Family Role, Tags — and maps them automatically.

Will our families and tags survive the move?

Yes. Breeze's Family Name and Family Role columns become Shepherdly households, and your tag columns come across as tags. You review the whole mapping in a preview before anything is imported.

Does our giving history come too?

Yes — export Contributions from Breeze and import them on the Giving page. Donors are matched by email where possible, and your totals and annual statements stay intact.

Why move at all if Breeze still works?

Many churches loved Breeze for its simplicity, but since it was acquired by Tithe.ly, prices have risen and development has slowed — and it's billed in US dollars. Shepherdly gives you the same simplicity, actively built, priced in AUD with every feature on every plan.

What if we change our minds?

You leave with everything. One-click CSV export of all your data is included on every plan, free, forever. No exit fees, no exports held hostage.

Simple again. For good this time.
